Vancouver resident wins ‘Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions’

PORTLAND, Ore. (PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — In come-from-behind fashion, Yogesh Raut of Vancouver, Washington, won the “Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions” after Tuesday’s game six of the series on KATU.

Raut takes home $250,000 for the victory.

He’s a social and personality psychologist who lives in Vancouver.

Host Ken Jennings asked Raut if has been recognized after his success.

Joked Raut: “Ken, I haven’t even been recognized at this tournament. All week long people come up to me say, ‘Hey Suresh.'”

He won three games in a past season to qualify for the “Tournament of Champions.”
