John Pope is the director of Keep Van Buren Beautiful.

He says events like the Earth Day festival give people a chance to see the work his organization does.

“We’ll have a booth across the street, and we’ll be handing out items from Keep America Beautiful, Keep Arkansas Beautiful, and Keep Van Buren Beautiful. We have an opportunity to talk to them. And then there’ll be all kinds of vendors down here,” Pope said.
