Vaccination clinics scheduled, including Thursday at Robeson County Fairgrounds

Feb. 14—LUMBERTON — UNC Health Southeastern is scheduling vaccinations for coronavirus among the age 65 and older population, and any health-care workers.

The hospital also plans to join the Robeson United NAACP for an offering at the Robeson County Fairgrounds on Thursday.

The ability to distribute will be based on supply, a release says. Vaccination clinics are planned by UNC Health Southeastern on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in addition to the date at the fairgrounds.

To schedule a first-dose appointment, email name, date of birth and phone number to vaccine@srmc.org. Bring insurance card, state ID such as a driver's license, and exercise COVID-19 protocols of wearing a face covering and social distancing. Short-sleeve shirts expedite the process, hospital official say.

Through Friday, Robeson County had vaccinated 4.1 percent of its population with second doses. That's ahead of the state's 3.9 percent.
