Utah man strikes plea deal in New Hampshire couple's 2019 Padre Island killings

Adam C. Williams, one of the two individuals accused of killing a New Hampshire couple and burying their bodies in a shallow grave on Padre Island in 2019, has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Kleberg County court officials confirmed that Williams, 35, has agreed to plead guilty and spend the rest of his life in prison with no option for parole. In return, state prosecutors will agree to not seek the death penalty.

The deal comes after state prosecutors announced in a June hearing that they would seek the death penalty against Williams if he is convicted at trial.

Court officials said Williams is set to appear before 105th District Judge Jack Pulcher on Nov. 10 to officially enter his plea.
