UT Tyler to host free health screenings in Avinger on Saturday

AVINGER, Texas (KETK) – The University of Texas at Tyler is hosting the Marion County Health and Resource Fair to provide free health screenings to those in Avinger on Saturday.

Como-Pickton CISD receives grant to improve literacy

Starting at 10 a.m. at 9902 FM 729 in Avinger, UT Tyler will be providing:

  • Free lunch

  • Gift card drawings

  • Health screenings

    • Glucose tests

    • Blood pressure checks
