America defeats Brazil in their “Finest City” to win CONCACAF W Gold Cup 1-0

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The USWNT defeats rivals Brazil 1-0 in the inaugural CONCACAF W Gold Cup Final at Snapdragon Stadium.

The lone goal of the match came from a cross by Defender Emily Fox that found the head of Captain & Midfielder Lindsey Horan who scored in the 45+1 minute.

The Golden Ball award winner, given to the best player of the tournament, goes to San Diego Wave Forward Jaedyn Shaw. The 19-year-old scored 4 goals in the 3 games she started for the Red, White, & Blue.
