USPS to suspend free COVID testing kit program

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The free COVID-19 test program with the United States Postal Service (USPS) is coming to a close this week.

USPS said that the service will be suspended after Friday, March 8. Any order placed before or on that date will be delivered.

If you have not requested the free at-home COVID-19 tests since Nov. 20, you can order four free tests online. If you did not order free tests between Sept. 25 and Nov. 20, you can place two orders for a total of eight tests now.

USPS said that after the testing program ends, you can find more free COVID-19 resources online at COVID.gov.
