USPS offers up to $150K regarding mail carrier robbery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering money to anyone with information regarding a robbery of a USPS letter carrier last month in Raleigh.

The company says they are giving out an award of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved.

According to reports, the robbery occurred in the Regency Apartments on Timberline Drive on March 25 around 1:15 p.m.

The suspect is described as a male in his mid-20s who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 140 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a black pullover, black pants, and a dark-colored t-shirt wrapped around his head.

Reports state the suspect got away in a dark-colored four-door Nissan Altima with tinted windows.
