Ex-USF DE LaDarrius Jackson charged with assaulting a second woman
Former USF defensive end LaDarrius Jackson has been arrested for the second time in a month after a second woman accused him of sexual assault.
Jackson is facing sexual battery and false imprisonment charges yet again after turning himself in at Orient Road Jail, according to online records. Jackson faced the same charges in his May 1 arrest.
Jackson has been dismissed from the USF football team. (He was removed from team activities after his earlier arrest.)

From the Tampa Bay Times, which cited the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office’s report from a March 27 incident at the alleged victim’s home:
She told detectives she was putting items in her bathroom when Jackson asked her multiple times to shower with him. She repeatedly denied Jackson’s requests and attempted to leave the bathroom, but he blocked the door, she reported.
To appease the 6-foot-4, 248-pound defensive end, the woman began to wash her hair in her bathtub while remaining clothed, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Then, the woman told detectives, Jackson grabbed her, forcefully removed her clothing against her will, and committed sexual battery, the agency said.
Afterward, Jackson made the woman drive to a nearby pharmacy to purchase an emergency contraceptive and ordered her to take it in his presence. He then made her drive him home to his on-campus dorm in USF’s Holly Apartments, the agency said.
Jackson was released from jail on Wednesday on $9,500 bond shortly after he was booked.
Jackson had been arrested May 1 after allegedly forcing a woman into a USF dorm room, where, according to the woman, Jackson “pushed on a bed and raped her after she told him no several times in different ways.”
That case drew national headlines after a Tampa judge called out USF coach Charlie Strong for the Bulls’ multiple spring arrests. The judge recused herself from the case shortly thereafter.
