The USC player has been identified as redshirt freshman defensive lineman Liam Jimmons. An investigation into the incident by Washington State University Police is still ongoing according to the Spokesman-Review.
A USC player who knocked over a Washington State fan on the field following the Cougars’ upset win over the Trojans on Friday night has been internally disciplined, according to coach Clay Helton.
Washington State fans rushed the field after the Cougars beat the Trojans. In this video, you can see a USC player push over a fan at about the 10-second mark.

Helton said the discipline for the player, who can’t be identified via the video, will remain in-house.
It’s against Pac-12 rules for fans to storm the field with the teams on it, so Washington State has to pay the conference a $25,000 fine for the celebration Friday night. After the game, Washington State coach Mike Leach likened the scene to Woodstock, but with people having their clothes on.
Pullman Radio News reported Monday that the Washington State University police department was “investigating the case as a possible misdemeanor assault.”
