USA field hockey’s chance at gold is no joke for prankster Kelsey Bing

(NEXSTAR) – Engineer and Stanford alum Kelsey Bing is goalkeeper on Team USA’s field hockey team but has the reputation of being quite the prankster.

“I bought 400 tiny acrylic ducks,” Bing recounted, “and filled them in one of our other goalkeeper’s bags…it was raining tiny ducks.”

She said the team now has ducks in all their meeting spaces.

Kelsey started playing field hockey in middle school because at her school she was required to play a sport each trimester and her mom told her field hockey was the most like soccer.

Bing helped USA qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games behind a great performance in goal during the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier in January 2024.
