‘This Is Us’ Star Justin Hartley Embarrassed by Old Acting Footage
This Is Us star Justin Hartley filled in for Kathie Lee Gifford as co-host on the fourth hour of Today, so naturally, since the show had him for so long, it dug up some old footage from his days on the steamy, and odd to say the least, soap opera Passions.
Hartley was a little little resistant at first but then embraced the trip down memory lane … kind of. While watching the short clip, Hartley began sweating. He said he can’t watch it without sweating. Passions was one of Hartley’s first real gigs, so the now seasoned actor couldn’t help but critique his skills as a newbie.
“I was the worst actor, but here’s the cool thing about it: I had no idea,” Hartley said
Hartley then praised the casting director for Passions, Jackie Briskey, saying,”God bless Jackie Briskey for hiring me back then when I had no idea what I was doing.”
