US Space Force Releases Recruitment Video
The newly formed United States Space Force released a recruitment video on Wednesday, May 6, with the tagline: “Maybe your purpose on this planet isn’t on this planet.”
The video begins with a shot of a young man looking up at the night sky, followed by images of space hardware, military personnel, launches, and operations centers.
Chief of Space Operations Gen. Jay Raymond and US Air Force Secretary Barbara M. Barrett previewed the video while speaking to media in a webinar on Wednesday morning, during which Barrett also discussed the May 16 launch of the X-37B space plane, which she described as a “metaphor for American leadership” in space.
“USSF demonstrates the department’s continued innovation and collaboration that pushes the boundaries for reusable space systems,” Barrett tweeted. “This mission will host more experiments than any previous mission.” Credit: US Space Force via Storyful
