The United States has secretly supplied Ukraine with ATACMS ballistic missiles in March, after U.S. President Joe Biden approved the transfer in February, CNN correspondent Natasha Bertrand reported on April 24, citing the Pentagon.

The missiles were included in the $300 million aid package announced on March 12 and arrived in Ukraine by early April.

“Biden secretly approved the transfer of the missiles in February for use inside Ukrainian territory,” Bertrand wrote in a Twitter post.

“The ATACMS missiles were then quietly included in the $300 million aid package announced on March 12th and ultimately delivered to Ukraine earlier this month, according to Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Garron Garn.”

Politico also confirmed this information.

Reuters’ sources indicated that Ukraine used these missiles to strike a Russian air base in Dzhankoi, Crimea, last week.
