NBC's hit new drama This Is Us has officially been renewed for two more seasons on the broadcast network. The fan-favorite series will return for Seasons 2 and 3 and will consist of a minimum of 18 episodes each season. The show, which stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown, premiered back in September and has continued to be a strong force for the network.

NBC broke the news of the show's renewal at the 2017 Television Critics Association conference during a This Is Us panel. According to Deadline, Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment, said, "We all got our wish that this is a hit show. This Is Us is as good as anything we've ever had, we're thrilled to renew it for two seasons and there's no doubt it will have a long life on NBC."

Recently the cast members of the NBC drama were spotted at this year's Golden Globe. Mandy Moore's role as Pearson family matriarch resulted in her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series Drama alongside her co-star (and onscreen daughter) Chrissy Metz.
