Have you recovered from this week's emotional double-whammy of This Is Us episodes, which saw Jack Pearson's death airing on Super Bowl Sunday followed by an episode focused on his funeral on Tuesday night? Hope so, because this new tidbit from creator Dan Fogelman is pretty much guaranteed to get the waterworks going again.

Of course, Jack will continue to be in the show regularly in the past timelines, but Fogelman hinted in a new interview with Glamour that he may also show up in a different way.

"We play with a lot of things around time and memory and what could have been, so I think that's definitely a possibility," Fogelman said.

"There's a lot of emotions [about that idea] because if you've lost someone tragically, you dream about them a lot. There's a lot of different ways that can happen."

Fogelman went on to confirm that Kate's wedding to Toby will be a major focus of the final three episodes of this season.

"We have the bachelor party, bachelorette party, [the] wedding," he said, which prompted a question about the possibility of seeing Jack walk Kate down the aisle in a dream sequence.

"Well, you might," he began, then cut himself off. "You're not exactly right, but you could actually be in a place where something like that could happen."

During a recent interview, Milo Ventimiglia spoke about how much he enjoys the rare opportunities to film scenes with his adult children in the show.

"But when I get to be with the Big Three, it's a playground, it's so exciting," he told Esquire. "We're all friends, but I don't usually get to spend time with them when the cameras are rolling.

"I try to slow down time... when I get to play opposite Sterling [K Brown] or Justin [Hartley] or Ron [Cephas Jones], because it's so rare and it goes so fast."

The reason Ventimiglia didn't mention Chrissy Metz is that he hasn't yet shared a scene with her-and given all the focus on Jack and Kate's relationship in the episodes leading up to his death, it's surely only a matter of time.

This Is Us airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC in the US. Season 2 will be coming to Channel 4 this summer in the UK.
