This Is Us Casts The Walking Dead's Alexandra Breckenridge as Pearson Pal
This Is Us‘ Kate has been having a rough time lately. That’s why it’s a good thing (we think) that she’ll have an old friend around soon.
The Walking Dead‘s Alexandra Breckenridge is joining the NBC comedy as Sophie, one of Kate’s childhood pals, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Breckenridge will recur on the family drama, which airs its fall finale Tuesday at 9/8c. No word on whether Sophie’s re-entry into Kate’s life will affect her recent decision to undergo weight-loss surgery.
In addition to her role as The Walking Dead‘s doomed Jessie, Breckenridge is known for playing young Moira in the first season of American Horror Story. Her TV credits also include True Blood, Life Unexpected and Dirt.
