Ukraine needs both rapid military assistance and long-term support, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said in an interview with The Telegraph on April 27.

“Russian goals have not changed, they always played the card that one day our assistance will be reduced and our unity will be destroyed," she said.

"In this regard, every package of weapons and ammunition, including latest ones provided by UK and US, is very welcomed. It should also inspire others to provide Ukraine with what it urgently needs. We should not forget that we have resources and experience - our strength is greater than Russia's."

Earlier, Kaja Kallas said that Russia's defeat in Ukraine is necessary to avoid outbreak of World War III.

“If Russia loses this war, then we will not have to worry about World War III,” Kallas said.

At the same time, Estonian prime minister said that she is not promoting war.
