Upgrade Your Wall to Batman Cave-Level Cool Using Vintage Vinyl

Batty for Vinyl

Make some vinyl cutout bats and use glue dots and watch as any old wall transforms into your very own bat cave. (Give or take a few thousand bats.) For ultimate spookiness, place a lamp in an unusual spot and explore some dramatic lighting. All you need is a big bowl of popcorn and some ghost stories and your fright night is good to go!

Materials:

  • 1 yard of black vinyl or pleather

  • Bat stencil

  • Black pen

  • Glue dots

  • Scissor

Instructions:

1. Turn the vinyl over, using the pen, trace bats on the back of the vinyl (it should be white and easy to see your markings) until you run out of room.
2. Cut the bats out.
3. Put 5 glue dots on one wing and the head, ONLY. Glue the single wing and head to the wall. The other wing will be floppy.
