Upcoming Columbus City Council meetings to be re-located

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Columbus Consolidated Government will be holding some of its upcoming budget and council meetings at a different spot than usual.

The meetings will be held at the Muscogee County School Board Chambers (2960 Macon Road) for a session in May and two in July.

The city says the change of venue is to help facilitate essential equipment upgrades. This should lead to clearer audio, improved visuals, and better accessibility for in-person and remote attendees.
