UNM Softball wins 1st game at home this season
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Riding two straight losses, the UNM Softball Team got back into the win column on Tuesday at home beating UTEP, 6-1. This win marks the first at home this season for UNM, who is now 1-1 while playing on their home turf.

UNM opened the scoring in the 3rd inning, getting back-to-back home runs from Keyannah Chavez and Chloe Yeatts.
Now 9-23 overall on the year, UNM moves back into conference play where they hold a 1-2 Mountain West record. The Lobos remain at home hosting a 3-game set with UNLV, starting on Friday at 6 pm.
