Ulinzi Stars have lined up two friendly matches to sharpen their attacking front ahead of their league match against Vihiga United on Sunday.
Ulinzi were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Kariobangi Sharks last weekend and coach Dunstan Nyaudo will be hoping to command his troops back to winning ways when they seek revenge against Vihiga, who handed them a 1-0 defeat at Afraha Stadium in April.
To prepare for the tough assignment in Western Kenya, Ulinzi Stars will take on National Super League side Nakuru AllStars in the first friendly on Thursday.
Nyaudo will then make a short trip to Naivasha on Friday to play third-tier side Vegpro FC in the last build up match before traveling to Mumias.
The two sides will clash on Sunday, a game that will be the first of back to back matches between the two as they are scheduled to face off again on Sunday July 22, at the same venue, Mumias Sports Complex, in the FKF Shield.
The two sides are separated by eight places on the log with Ulinzi Stars lying sixth on 34 points and Vihiga 14th.
