UK's Cameron: Clear that Israel will respond to Iran attack

STORY: Speaking to journalists after he arrived in Jerusalem, Cameron said he hoped Israel would "do so in a way that does as little to escalate this as possible".

Cameron also said that a “united front” was needed to impose sanctions on Iran, which "was behind so much of the malign activity” in the region.

Cameron heads next to Italy where a three-day G7 Foreign Ministers summit is being held. Discussions on tensions in the Middle East, including Iran's attack on Israel, will be high on the agenda.
