Ukrainian tennis star Tsurenko triumphs over Polish Linette in Miami

Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko has advanced to the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, USA.

In the tournament's opening match, Tsurenko defeated Poland's third-ranked player, Magda Linette, in three sets.

The match didn't start well for Tsurenko, as she only managed to win two games in the first set. However, she dominated in the second set, conceding only one game to her opponent. In the decisive set, the Polish player led 3-1, but Tsurenko turned the tide of the match, winning 6-4.

In the next round, Tsurenko will face Czech player Barbora Krejčíková.

Also competing in the Miami tournament are Anhelina Kalinina, Dayana Yastremska, Elina Svitolina, and Marta Kostyuk.
