Ukrainian police to forcibly take draft dodgers to Territorial Recruitment Centers

Individuals evading military service and placed on the wanted list will be forcibly taken to Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCC and SP) by law enforcement officers, National Police head Ivan Vyhivskyi said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

When a person is identified as having committed an administrative offense under Articles 210 and 210-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, police officers are authorized to act based on a TCC and SP request, according to the law on the National Police.

Ukraine's new mobilization law

A new mobilization law took effect in Ukraine on May 18, requiring men aged 18 to 60 to update their military registration data by July 16. Updated documents will include VIN codes (barcodes).

Men can update their information through an online portal, the Reserve+ mobile app, at TCC and SP offices, or administrative service centers (CNAP).

The law also mandates that military registration documents must always be carried, introduces new rules for serving draft notices, provides guidelines for deferment, and sets restrictions for draft dodgers.
