Ukrainian General Staff reports sixty-three engagements along front, most near Novopavlivka and Avdiivka
Sixty-three combat engagements along the entire frontline in the past 24 hours were reported by the Ukrainian General Staff on Facebook on March 9, noting a focus of Russian activity in the Novopavlivka and Avdiivka sectors.
· In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy launched three unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian positions near Sinkivka and Kyslivka, Kharkiv Oblast, trying to improve their tactical position
· In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Terny and Spyrne in Donetsk Oblast
· In the Bakhmut sector, the Defense Forces repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Andriivka and Klishchyivka

· In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled fifteen enemy attacks near Lastochkino, Severne, and Pervomaiske
· In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces continue to hold back the enemy near Pobeda, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast, where the invaders, supported by aviation, attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 22 times
· In the Orikhiv sector, eight Russian attacks were repelled near Robotyne and west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia Oblast
· In the Kherson sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold their positions and repel the occupiers' attacks.

Russian troops continue to target civilian objects and Ukrainian military positions. Throughout the day, the enemy conducted a total of 8 missile strikes and 107 airstrikes, with 113 instances of firing from multiple rocket launchers. Additionally, Russian forces launched Shahed kamikaze drones at Ukraine during the night.
Ukrainian aviation targeted ten personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration areas during the day.
Missile launchers targeted an enemy concentration area, a command-and-control center, three EW (electronic warfare) stations, including two R-330ZH Zhitel stations, one heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A Solntsepek, and one Russian ammunition depot.
