Ukrainian Armed Forces hit landing ships, communications center and infrastructure facilities of Russian Black Sea Fleet

Ukraine hit large landing ships Yamal and Azov, communications center, and several infrastructure facilities of Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram on March 24.

Explosions in occupied Sevastopol on March 23-24 - what is known

On March 23, an air raid was declared in Sevastopol. Explosions were heard in the city, and firefighters were sent to the sites of the hits.

So-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, wrote that air defense systems allegedly managed to shoot down several air targets. He also stated that the attack "was the most massive in recent times."

At the same time, the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, reacted to the explosions in Crimea and praised work of the pilots.

"The sky and the sea are the same color!," Oleshchuk wrote.

"I thank the pilots and sailors for their successful combat work! Crimea is ours!"

According to an OSINTtechnical investigator, at least three Ukrainian Storm Shadow cruise missiles hit a major communications hub of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol on March 23. It is noted that the facility is "completely covered with satellite communications antennas."

On March 24, a series of explosions occurred in Crimea again. Internet news outlets reported that drones hit an oil depot near Hvardiyske village.
