The Ukrainian Air Force probably destroyed Russian Su-34 and Su-35 aircrafts on March 2, the Commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Mykola Oleshchuk, reported on Telegram on March 2.

He noted that the Air Force attacked the enemy aircraft with anti-aircraft guided missiles. There is no confirmation of destroying them yet.

According to the commander, the Russians continue to strike at the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the eastern direction, using guided bombs from tactical aircraft.

On March 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the east. This was the 14th Russian fighter jet that Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down in less than a month.
