Quote: "As a result, combined with previous acquisitions, the Agency has already procured 8,200 DJI Mavic UAVs (7,200 DJI Mavic 3E and 1,000 DJI Mavic 3T). The total sum for contracts completed is UAH 1.1 billion [about US$27.6 million]," the report says.

Prozorro [a state-owned system for transparent procurement – ed.] auctions revealed that the average price for a DJI Mavic 3E with three additional batteries and a charger was UAH 126,300 (about US$3,100), while a DJI Mavic 3T with three additional batteries and a charger costs UAH 194,200 (about US$4,800).

Quote: "Just on these purchases we managed to save more than UAH 65 million [about US$1.6 million] from the estimated cost," said Maryna Bezrukova, the head of DPA.

Furthermore, as of 20 May, the Defence Procurement Agency had already conducted successful auctions for an additional 4,000 DJI Mavic 3E and 1,500 DJI Mavic 3T UAVs, with contracts scheduled to be signed soon.

Background: Since the start of the full-scale war, the state has purchased 10,500 drones for the Defence Forces via the Prozorro Market electronic catalogue. This concerns FPV drones, such as the DJI Mavic, DJI Air 2S, and DJI Phantom.
