Ukraine to resume sea ferry and container transportation in 2 to 3 weeks

The first container transportation along the Ukrainian sea corridor can be completed in two to three weeks.

Quote: "All five container terminals are ready for processing [the containers  ed.]. Almost all of them are involved in the transportation of agricultural and other goods. However, containers are a priority, so we are negotiating. I hope that in two or three weeks we will carry out the first actions," said Vaskov.

He also stated that the ministry hopes to restore the road ferry service within two weeks, followed by the railway ferry service two months later.

Background: In February, the Ukrainian Sea Corridor created by the Ukrainian Navy exported a record 8 million tonnes of cargo, bringing the total volume of exports since the beginning of the grain corridor to 28 million tonnes.
