Ukraine repels another Russian terrorist attack aimed at critical infrastructure in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Several Russian Shahed kamikaze drones were shot down in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast on April 18, Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv reported on Telegram.

Russia attacked again tovernight on April 18, launching dozens of drones against Western Ukraine, he said.

Ukrainian defenders neutralized several enemy air targets in Prykarpattia (Ivano-Frankivsk's geographical area) in the early morning.

No casualties were immediately reported.

The enemy's main target was critical infrastructure objects, Ivano-Frankivsk Governor, Svitlana Onyshchuk reported on Telegram.

Fires broke out as a result of falling debris.

Russian troops launched a wave of Shahed drones against Ukraine overnight on April 18, mainly targeting Ukraine's western oblasts.
