Among the deceased defenders, 77 were soldiers who fought on the Donetsk front, 20 on the Zaporizhzhya front, and two on the Kharkiv front, the statement said.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport the deceased to designated state institutions. Once the fallen soldiers are identified, they will be handed over to their families for burial.

The repatriation process was facilitated by Ukrainian security and defense structures, along with assistance from the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Coordination Headquarters said.

Ukraine repatriated 100 fallen soldiers from Russia in a previous exchange of bodies on March 15.
