"We have already seen how the so-called Belarusian ‘president’ allowed Russian forces to advance from Belarusian territory at the start of the full-scale invasion,” Yevlash said during a TV interview.

“We also cannot rule out the possibility of launching air strikes from Belarus."

Russian aviation can move over long distances in a short time and conducts training on Belarusian territory, using its airfields.

"So, it certainly poses a threat in the form of potential missile and bomb strikes," Yevlash said.

Ukraine’s Air Force is ready for any scenario, he said, adding that Ukrainian soldiers are monitoring Russian aircraft movement and takeoffs.

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko claimed earlier that Belarus is preparing for war, stating that "necessary preparations" are underway to ready military units in Belarus, with various weapons and equipment being supplied to the armed forces.
