Switzerland will host an international summit based on Kyiv’s vision for enduring peace in Ukraine on June 15-16, Bloomberg reported on April 10.

The purpose of the event is to "create a common understanding" of how to achieve "a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace for Ukraine in accordance with international law and the UN Charter,” the Swiss government announced.

It’s unclear if the event will be attended by heads of state or lower-level officials, particularly when it comes to the Chinese delegation, as Beijing’s participation is question.

Russia is not invited to the summit, although the conference is supposed to present a "concrete roadmap for Russia's participation in the peace process."

Overall, between 80 and 100 countries could be represented at the summit, according to the report.
