Kharkiv Oblast Defense Council will consider forced evacuation of families with children from 18 villages in the Velikiy Burluk and Vilkhuvat municipalities, Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration head, Oleh Synehubov, reported on Feb. 29.

161 children live in these two communities, and the Russian aggressors will not stop firing at populated areas with artillery, drones, and aircraft every day, Synehubov said.

Mandatory evacuations are planned in 57 settlements of the Velikiy Burluk, Vilkhuvat, Kindrashivska, and Kurylivska municipalities, where 1,082 children live, Kharkiv Oblast officials estimate.
