Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, is to attend a G7 ministerial meeting in Italy from April 17 to 19 and participate in a special session focused on strengthening international support for Kyiv, the Foreign Ministry reported on April 17.

He is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his British, Italian, Canadian, German, French, Japanese, EU, and US counterparts, as well as with the NATO Secretary General.

Discussions will focus on the urgent provision of additional Western air defense systems, including Patriot batteries, to protect Ukraine from terrorizing Russian attacks. Other issues to be addressed include countering cooperation between Russia and North Korea and the use of frozen Russian assets to assist Ukraine.

On April 13, Berlin announced immediate transfer of Patriot system to Ukraine in addition to air defense systems that have already been delivered.
