Ukraine charges director of Russia Today Kremlin propaganda outlet over calls for genocide of Ukrainians
The SBU said Kuznetsov-Krasovsky has been charged under Part 2 of Article 442 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (genocide, public calls for genocide, as well as the production of materials with calls for genocide in order to distribute them).

In public speeches, Kuznetsov-Krasovsky has called for the invasion of Ukraine and reprisals against its people, the SBU said.
“In posting on his YouTube and Telegram channels, the (suspect) called on the Russian authorities to physically destroy Ukrainians,” the SBU said.

The SBU also quoted one of Kuznetsov-Krasovsky’s posts:
“Guys, it’s obvious that you need to pull yourself together,” he says.

“Get a grip and stop thinking about "brothers". They are not our brothers. I grew up there, with knowledge of the matter and I say: ‘Waste them! Do it!’”
Kuznetsov-Krasovsky distributed anti-Ukrainian propaganda not only through Russia Today, but also created his own videos with names like “B*tch, this country should not exist!”, in which he tried to convince the Russians that Ukraine should be attacked.

If arrested, tried and found guilty, Kuznetsov-Krasovsky faces up to five years in prison for his calls for genocide.
