EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The area round of the UIL Texas high school soccer playoffs kicked off on Thursday and will continue through Friday.

Burges def. Abilene High, 1-1 (Burges won 5-4 on penalty kicks)

Caprock def. Bel Air, 2-1

CLASS 4A

Riverside def. Wichita Falls, 2-1

Bowie def. Dumas, 4-2

Austin def. Perryton, 4-2

GIRLS

CLASS 4A

San Elizario def. Graham, 2-1

Wichita Falls def. Bowie, 5-0
