Uglies need not apply: New job site recruits ‘good-looking’ people only

Are you unemployed or looking to switch careers? Do you happen to be conventionally good-looking? If you answered yes to these questions, you’re in luck!

BeautifulPeople.com, the Match.com for beautiful people only, has expanded its services to include a job search section. According to Mashable, the site will help employers hire “good-looking staff.”

“An honest employer will tell you that it pays to hire good-looking staff,” Greg Hodge, managing director of BeautifulPeople.com, said in a statement. “Attractive people tend to make a better first impression on clients, win more business and earn more.”

Beautiful People’s original function is to pair beautiful people up with other beautiful people in the hopes of creating beautiful babies by allowing them to “browse beautiful profiles of men and women without sifting through all the riff raff.” The site allows current members to vote on hopeful members by rating them on a scale of “beautiful” to “absolutely not.”

The job search function will give companies access to Beautiful People’s 750,000 beautiful members, but Hodge warns that it is not “an invitation for crackpots to come and ogle our beautiful members.”

The service will eventually allow Beautiful People members to apply directly to companies.
