‘A UFO?’: Hiker films mysterious monolith discovery in this country

(WJW) – A man found a mysterious monolith while hiking on Hay Bluff, a hill in Wales, on Tuesday.
According to reports from The Herald, Craig Muir regularly hikes in that area but was “taken back” when he spotted what he assumed to be a UFO.

Muir spotted the silver monolith on the morning of March 12, and posted a video about it on TikTok.
“When I first saw it, I was a bit taken aback as it looked like some sort of a UFO,” Muir said, according to The Herald. “The steel structure was almost 10 feet long and looked perfectly leveled and steady, despite the weather being windy.”
According to the news outlet, Muir said the structure looked like it was placed in it’s spot, not just put there randomly.
“However, there were no obvious tracks around it and one would think that there would be a lot of mess around it, but there wasn’t,” Muir said.
Similar structures have been spotted in the past, including one in Utah in November of 2020.
According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, a ‘monolith,” believed to be made of metal, was found in a remote area of red rock while workers were conducting a count of bighorn sheep in the southeastern portion of the state.
