UC Merced, Madera Community College, to improve student transfer
MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two Central Valley colleges are partnering to improve access for transfer students in the Central Valley.
UC Merced officials announced they are partnering with the Madera Community College to strengthen access for transfer students by signing the Merced Promise Pathway Program memorandum of understanding.
Fresno City College to improve transfer program with Fresno State
Officials say by signing the memorandum, both institutions will give students at Madera Community College a clear, streamlined pathway to UC Merced. The Merced Promise also includes a variety of support options to help them prepare for a life at a four-year university.
A signing ceremony will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Welcome Center at UC Merced.
