U.S. Coast Guard Rescues Crew From Burning Boat Off Rhode Island Coast

Members of the U.S. Coast Guard and a local fire department rescued three crew members from a burning boat in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, on May 21.

Footage shows the burning boat’s tip sinking into the ocean, with the Coast Guard tweeting the boat sank to a depth of 105 feet.

The U.S. Coast Guard Northeast wrote on Facebook: “U.S. Coast Guard Station Point Judith assisted the Narragansett Fire Department by transporting 3 crew members from a 40-foot burning fishing boat in Narragansett Bay safely to shore. They were transferred to local EMS and later released.
