Tyren Martin appointed as newest Community Protection Division city marshal

Apr. 15—VALDOSTA — The City of Valdosta recently announced the appointment of Tyren Martin as the latest addition to its esteemed Community Protection Division, assuming the role of city marshal.

"His initial involvement in the Great Promise Partnership program during high school cultivated a strong work ethic and a deep-rooted commitment to community service.
