Tyler Transit to reroute downtown stops for Red Dirt Music Festival

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The City of Tyler announced that select Tyler Transit downtown bus routes will be rerouted on Friday and Saturday because of the Red Dirt BBQ and Music Festival.

The city said that because of the event, bus routes for downtown will be affected and will return to normal on Monday, May 6.

The City of Tyler announced that the following bus stops will be closed:

  • Stop 106 – Broadway Avenue and Elm Street northbound

  • Stop 107 – Broadway Avenue and Ferguson Street northbound

  • Stop 135 – Broadway Avenue and Ferguson Street southbound

  • Stop 136 – Broadway Avenue and Elm Street southbound

  • Stop 148 Ferguson Street and Bois D’Arc Avenue both directions

The city also announced that the following alternate stops will be available:

  • Stop TY 137 – Broadway Avenue and Front Street

  • Main Transfer Point – 210 E. Oakwood St.
