Tyler Azalea and Spring Flower Trail officially open

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The annual Azalea and Spring Flower Trail is officially open to Tyler residents and visitors until April 8.

Visit Tyler expects economic boost from total solar eclipse, azalea trails

According to Visit Tyler, the trails are approximately 10 miles along residential gardens that include azaleas, tulips, wisteria and dogwood.

“This is the time of year where Tyler comes alive with colors,” Susan Travis, Visit Tyler Vice President of Sales, said. “Everyone loves getting out in the spring in Tyler.”

The trails also include activities like art shows, festivals, historic home tours, horse drawn carriages and markets, a release said.

Each year, the trails attract thousands of people, and this year because of the total solar eclipse on April 8, Visit Tyler said they want visitors to enjoy a variety of activities.

“We love that the Trails attract out-of-town visitors to Tyler because while they’re here, they not only visit the Azalea Trails, but they spend money in our hotels, restaurants, shops, and more,” Travis said. “Visitors have a large economic impact on the community during this time.”
