Two York County K9s receive donated body armor

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Two K9s in York County received body armor on Wednesday thanks to a donation from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

K9s Miki and Khan of the York County Sheriff’s Office both received bullet and stab protective vests.

Miki’s vest was sponsored by a fundraiser hosted by Baystate Scrollahs and Khan’s vest was sponsored by the Nancy Allison Perkins Foundation of Homer Glen, Illinois.

Vested Interest in K9s was founded in 2009 and provides bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs in law enforcement in all 50 states.
