Two streets to be closed for work

Due to a water main break along the road, Fountain Road will remain closed through the weekend at Swede Lane between Main Street and St. Louis Avenue, according to information from the city of Joplin.
Additionally, Fourth Street will be closed to through traffic at the railroad crossing near Murphy Boulevard beginning at 7 a.m. Monday.
A railroad contractor will be working on the train tracks. The closure is expected to last until 4:30 p.m.
