According to a preliminary police report, a man contacted the Springdale Police Department on Feb. 29 to report his vehicle being stolen. The victim told police he had plans to meet with Estrada, whom he dated in the past.

He said Estrada told him to go to a specific place and park beside a specific car.

Once they parked by the car, three masked men with guns came up to the vehicle and began yelling at the victim, telling him to get out. One of them punched the victim in the face, according to the report.

The victim was reportedly forced into the backseat of the vehicle at gunpoint and forced to keep his head between his knees so he couldn’t see what was happening.

They threatened to kill the victim if he didn’t give them all of the money he had and told the victim Estrada owed them money for a drug deal, the report said.

The men then demanded the victim tell them his address. He did, and they went to the victim’s apartment where they threw him and his roommates face down on the floor, according to the report.

The affidavit says the men stole around $2,000 in cash, two cell phones, a tablet and a video game console from the apartment before leaving in the victim’s vehicle.

The report said the total value of the items and vehicle stolen was estimated at around $5,050.

Police said the victim’s car was located later that day wrecked and abandoned at an apartment complex in Fayetteville along with his phone.

Estrada was located and interviewed by authorities on March 8. After police read her Miranda Rights, she said she had a prior relationship with the victim and that he still sometimes helped her, financially. Estrada told police she made plans to meet up with the victim so they could possibly have sex. According to the report, she messaged the victim to confirm he had cash. She then told police that she directed the victim where to go and that she was waiting in a car with four other men.

She confirmed the details of the robbery and told police the men removed the bullets from the guns because they were afraid they might accidentally pull the trigger, according to the report.

Estrada did not provide the names of the men involved but said one of them had recently gotten out of jail after being incarcerated for around one year.

Her mother told police Estrada used an Instagram account to communicate. Police received a search warrant for the account and found Estrada messaged Colindres and planned to rob the victim.

Estrada later messaged Colindres not to come to her house because the police were looking for her, the report said. She also messaged Colindres when police interviewed her and he told her to ask for a lawyer.

The victim later contacted police because he identified some of the suspects in a photo on social media with Estrada, one of them being Colindres.

SPD also investigated a separate case involving Colindres. The report said after he purchased a vehicle, it fled from law enforcement on multiple occasions.

A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle and inside authorities found ammunition and clothing matching the victim’s description of an outfit worn by one of the men during the robbery. Shotgun shells, Estrada’s purse, a firearm magazine loaded with .223 caliber ammunition and a large knife were also found in the vehicle, according to police.

Both suspects are being held in the Washington County Jail, Estrada on a $150,000 bond and Colindres on a $300,000 bond. Both have court dates scheduled for May 17.
