Two men injured in fight near Church's Chicken

Winston-Salem police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday evening.

The incident happened at about 4:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Patterson Avenue, near the Church's Chicken.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a stab wound and another man who had been hit in the head.

Officers say the initial investigation reveals the men know each other and were involved in a fight.

Both men were taken to the hospital and are stable.

Officers say they're pursuing investigative leads.
