Two males rushed to hospital in critical condition following drive-by shooting

Police investigated a double shooting in Pittsburgh's Upper Hill neighborhood shortly before 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.

A store owner told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 the two victims, both young men, ran into his store with gunshot wounds. Both appeared to be shot in the stomach and possibly in their legs.

The shooting happened in front of the J&J Convenience store at the intersection of Milwaukee St. and Herron Ave.

Pittsburgh Police say the two men were fired upon by someone inside a moving car. Both were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police did not release their names or ages prior to 11:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The store owner said he turned surveillance video over to investigators.

“I said look man, don’t die man, just hold on, the paramedics are coming. They came pretty quick too. You know what I mean? I heard they are going to be OK. The other guy got shot out here. He got shot in his stomach too and I think he got shot in his leg," said Kenny Johnson.
